Welcome to End of the Road Studios

When Stan DuBose and Robin Anne Cooper came together, it wasn’t just a meeting of hearts—it was a meeting of two creative minds. Their journey as artists and partners led to the creation of End of the Road Studios, a shared dream brought to life on the historic DuBose family farm in Walhalla, South Carolina.

Nestled in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, their studio and gallery sit on land rich with history, inspiration, and charm. It’s not only their creative haven but also their home—a space they share with two beloved dogs, a wonderfully weird cat, and, formerly, a fish named Flush.

Family is never far. Robin’s hometown of Clemson is just a stone’s throw away, and nearby relatives make the farm feel even more like a shared legacy.

Together, Stan and Robin—both eclectic, innovative, and award-winning artists—have carved out their own corner of paradise. The studio/gallery/guesthouse is a whimsical blend of modern and antique, practical and peculiar. Visitors may find a kitchen floor tiled with pennies, a horse trough bathtub, or any number of delightful surprises that reflect the couple’s boundless creativity and sense of humor.

Whether you're looking for art, inspiration, or just a memorable stop in Upstate South Carolina, you’re warmly invited to visit End of the Road Studios. Just be sure to reach out ahead of time—we keep artist hours..
